Terms of Service

Last updated 2 October 2026

These terms govern your use of AppVanguard, a mobile application protection product provided by NovaStack Systems Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 202601026967), a company incorporated in Malaysia ("NovaStack", "we", "us"). By using AppVanguard or entering into an order with us, you ("the Customer") agree to these terms.

1. The service

AppVanguard provides an SDK that collects integrity signals from your mobile application, and a server that verifies those signals and returns a policy decision. The specific scope, environment and support for your deployment are set out in your order or pilot agreement.

2. Licence and use

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use AppVanguard for your own applications for the term of your order. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the internals of the product except as permitted by law.

3. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for integrating the SDK correctly, for the apps you protect, for the accuracy of the configuration you set, and for how you act on the verdicts the service returns. During a log-only pilot, the service observes and does not block your users unless you configure it to.

4. Availability

AppVanguard is designed to fail open: if the server is unreachable, your application continues to work. We take reasonable measures to keep the service available but do not warrant uninterrupted operation unless a separate service level is agreed in writing.

5. Data

Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy. Where agreed, the console and logs are hosted in Malaysia or on your own infrastructure.

6. Fees

Fees are set out in your order. Taxes are charged only where NovaStack is registered to collect them.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability under an order is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Term and termination

Either party may terminate for material breach that is not remedied within thirty days of written notice. On termination you stop using AppVanguard and we stop processing your signals.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the revised version here. Questions: info@novastack.com.my.
